The area is easily accessed from Manchester city centre using the Metrolink tram system with stops at Dane Road, Sale & Brooklands. Sale and Sale Moor are also well served by buses from Manchester with the regular 41 service and from Altrincham where most services heading north run up the A56 Cross Street passing The Vine & The Volunteer Hotel.
